Our Location
KyFields Town Homes are located in
Weaverville, a vibrant town of 2,500 residents in Buncombe County, North Carolina. Although only 10 miles north of Asheville, Weaverville has the friendly charm and hospitality of a small town and an abundance of talented artists. Main Street is home to a number of shops and galleries, as well as a thriving restaurant scene including Blue Mountain Pizza, the Glass Onion, Twisted Laurel, Main Street Grill, Soba, and the ever-popular Well-Bred Bakery & Cafe. Wellness and medical services, several large grocery stores, and national chain eateries are nearby.
Each spring and fall, local artists invite the public into their studios during the Weaverville Art Safari. For one day in mid-September each year, Main Street is closed to traffic while Weaverville hosts
Art in Autumn, a juried arts & crafts festival featuring over 100 artists. Early December brings the community together for the annual Candlelight Stroll on Main Street when shops stay open late, businesses offer warm cider and cookies, and kids can take a short ride in a horse-drawn carriage.
Weaverville sits between the French Broad River Valley and Blue Ridge mountains, all surrounded by the Pisgah National Forest. A 15-minute ride puts residents and visitors on the renowned Blue Ridge Parkway where they can enjoy the Appalachian landscape with its displays of June azaleas and October leaf colors. A drive north on the Blue Ridge Parkway leads to Mount Mitchell, the highest peak east of the Mississippi River. The mountains, rivers, and valleys of Western North Carolina provide endless opportunities to go for a walk or a hike, tube down the river on a hot summer day, or simply take a beautiful afternoon drive.
